We founded Anytherm with a shared ambition: to make high-quality heat transfer and heat recovery solutions economically attractive and help our customers use energy more efficiently. This is our story — and the values behind it.

The story of Anytherm began many years before the company was officially founded. The brothers and founders, Dominic and Nicolas Ettlin, shared a vision in the early 2000s to support industry worldwide with cost-optimized, high-quality heat transfer and heat recovery systems. They recognized early on that the industry’s challenges were increasingly centered on continuous cost optimization while maintaining the highest industrial quality standards, and at the same time meeting growing ecological requirements and challenges.
With their many years of hands-on expertise in industrial heat transfer, process air handling and heat recovery, combined with a science-based approach to industrial energy consulting, the two founders put their vision into action. In early 2017, Anytherm began its operational activities, and a few months later, the company was officially established.

In 2017, brothers Dominic and Nicolas Ettlin founded Anytherm together with a Danish partner. In 2018, the brothers acquired all remaining shares. Since then, Anytherm has been fully family-owned, owner-managed and independent of its former co-owner.
All shares are held within the family. Anytherm is not part of an external corporate group. We make our own business decisions, guided by our vision, our values and a commitment to transparency.
Our independence goes hand in hand with loyal, long-standing customer relationships and voluntary, project-based collaboration with manufacturing partners. These partnerships are built on mutual trust and well-established ways of working.

As Anytherm grew, we also brought our father, Yves Ettlin – an experienced business leader – onto the board as an advisor. His experience and perspective help us reflect on important decisions and shape the company’s continued development.

Driven by a passionate team committed to growth through open and honest business practices, Anytherm has, within just a few intense years, evolved into a financially stable and internationally recognized company.
Thanks to our ambitious yet collegial and service-oriented team, and our strong focus on integrating heat transfer systems with hands-on energy consulting, Anytherm has become a global market leader in various areas of industrial process air handling, heat recovery systems, and energy consulting.
